A new online contest for teachers, organised by Titul Publishers and "English at School" journal with technical support of "Computers for Education" will be held from September 1 through December 25th 2010. Please find detailed information about the contest here.
New multimedia exercises from ICT CDs developed by "Computers for Education" for "Enjoy English" and "Millie - New Millennium English" textbooks are now available for download at www.englishteachers.ru
Maximum size for attachments to postings has been increased and is now 4.5 Mb for Users and 7 Mb for Advanced users and Guru.
Accordingly, personal server space has been increased for all forum users, so now you can share more materials on the forum.
Our heartfelt congratulations go to the authors of the Happy English.ru textbooks and all teachers on the publication of the textbook for Grade 10.
On 3-5 of June 2010 two teams of web-designers, programmers and artists of "Computers for Education" will be representing Russia in the final of the international festival of web-design WIF 2010 in Limoges, France. 35 international teams of best web-designer will take part in the final. Teachers are welcome to participate in the V All-Russia Seminar "Teaching English in Russian Schools". The seminar is to take place from March 24 till March 26th 2010 in Obninsk, Kaluga Region. Check out the preliminary programme of the seminar here.
In January 2010 (from 25th through 28th) the XIII All-Russian seminar "Teaching English in Russian schools" was held in Obninsk. 90 specialists from in-service teacher-training institutes, regional departments of education and universities took part in the seminar. A report on the seminar's proceedings and the speakers' presentations are here.
The jury has decided on the winners of the All-Russia contest "The best English language textbook of Russia". The list of winners is published on the forum.
