As a teacher I tried the following activity:

From the rubric Timeline I found material about the tallest building in the USA and in the world, and then added my own material about Russia and the students learned the grammar point about the degrees of comparison of the adjectives and at the same time they learnt a lot about the highest buildings in the world.

If you try Calendar you will learn what important events were on a particular day of the month.

Another activity is about the history of the Summer Holidays in the USA, it was interesting to know why the students in the USA have holidays in July and August, we also compared with the holidays in Russia.

Lots of games and activities are offered in Games and Quizzes section.

The children can also communicate with children from all over the world, as there is Forum on the site.
