Common English Tongue Twisters

http://english-learners.com/tag/difficult-to-articulate

Tongue twisters  are words, phrases, or sentences which are difficult to articulate because of a succession of similar consonantal sounds.

These sentences are strongly recommended to those who have problem with their pronunciation.

Try to read sentences bellow loudly and as fast as possible. It seems to be rather funny but after a while you’ll see how your pronunciation and your speaking has improved.

.Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.

Did Peter Piper pick a peck of pickled peppers?
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
where’s the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

Betty Botter had some butter,

“But,” she said, “this butter’s bitter.
If I bake this bitter butter,
it would make my batter bitter.
But a bit of better butter–
that would make my batter better.”

So she bought a bit of butter,

better than her bitter butter,
and she baked it in her batter,
and the batter was not bitter.
So ’twas better Betty Botter
bought a bit of better butter.

You’ve no need to light a night-light

On a light night like tonight,
For a night-light’s light’s a slight light,
And tonight’s a night that’s light.
When a night’s light, like tonight’s light,
It is really not quite right
To light night-lights with their slight lights
On a light night like tonight.

К этому списку я бы добавила несколько скороговорок на отработку межзубных звуков - они являются наиболее проблематичными как для детей, так и для взрослых. Например, вот такой вариант:

These brothers bathe with those brothers,
Those brothers bathe with these brothers.
If these brothers didn’t bathe with those brothers,
Would those brothers bathe with these brothers?

Кто желает их послушать, можете зайти на страничку с аудио вариантами скороговорок http://lizasenglish.ru/proiznoshenie/luchshie-skorogovorki.html
