Three useful writing tools

I found three tools which can help to develop writing skills. The first one is www.foldingstory.com I remember we played the same game in Russian when we write the sentence then fold the paper and pass to another person and finally we got a nonsense story.

Write for Ten is a writing project with one simple rule: write for 10 minutes about anything. Describe where you are. Ramble about your day. Imagine a scenario between two strangers. What you write doesn't have to be perfect nor complete. Just write it.

It’s useful to write a piece for 10 minutes every day.

The third one is letter generator.

The Comic Creator invites students to compose their own comic strips for a variety of contexts (prewriting, pre- and postreading activities, response to literature, and so on). The organizers focus on the key elements of comic strips by allowing students to choose backgrounds, characters, and props, as well as to compose related dialogue (shown at left).
