Highly recommended!

There are some web-sites which are really indispensable part of teaching and a great source of ready –made materials and teaching tips.

Let’s have a close look at www.teachingenglish.org.uk

There are several sections on the front page:

THINK: here you’ll find methodological articles on every field of teaching.

TRY: activities that can be taught from the site.

LATEST TIP: quick and easy activity based on practice.

TALK: questions that can be answered and discussed with other teachers all over the world.

LITERATURE: pieces of contemporary literature graded by levels from young learners up to upper –intermediate with lesson plans, handouts and even flashcards.

QUIZZES:

ready-made short quizzes.

LESSON PLANS: the latest one is based on a famous comedy of Shakespeare “Much Ado About Nothing”, the approach is very unusual from Internet resources about Shakespeare to history of Stratford-upon- Avon and life in Elizabethan England.

The site is supported by the BBC and British Council.
